Iphone 3.0 – What doesn’t work yet?
Apple's 3rd generation software made it's debut on Wednesday. I give you an advise: read the fine prints before you smack $299 on the new iPhone 3GS! Why? Because you won't be able to send videos until late summer, you also won't be able to tether your phone to your laptop and use it as a wireless modem. AT&T is not supporting tethering in all the US. At Apple's conference last week people in the audience almost booed AT&T for non-availability of these features. Why it's possible everywhere in the World to use the ...
Oldest Twitter user in the World
Have you ever wondered who is the oldest person alive to tweet on Twitter? I have and I looked up for the answer..and I found her, Ivy Bean who's 104 years old. That means she was born in 1905. Did they invented something big back then except electricity? She came a long way from radio waves to microblogging, won't you say? She may be 104 but she has quite a life being a regular twitterer and also using Facebook with almost 5000 friends. She topped me here and on Twitter. She is ...
Twitter, better than Google?
Everywhere I look, anything I read, I step into Twitter or Facebook or Google. Internet it's like a baby now, knows only a few words and keeps saying those words over and over again. Google is the “Daddy” for a long time but all this could change if haven't already, because of the “Mamma” Twitter. Fred Wilson, a venture capitalist said that Twitter can deliver more traffic and better traffic than any search engine [Google]. Can Twitter one day beat Google in driving traffic to Web sites? At the 140 Characters conference Wilson discussed ...
Facebook your Name with brand new URL
It's been out for a few days now and people don't seem to rush and get their personal Facebook URL [facebook.com/yourname]. However the claim process will be first come, first serve. If you want to prevent your name from being claimed by someone else, then you should go at Facebook [link] a.s.a.p. and claim your name. Watch out thou, because you are not able to re-change it. Choose wisely, because your choice will be permanent. Facebook did pre-book some names for trade marked companies and well known journalists but everyone else in on ...
Dell makes money with Twitter
Dell has 34 Twitter accounts, some of which post links to special offers. The company claims 600,000 followers. Once you know these numbers, it doesn’t seem crazy that Dell “collected” $3 million through Twitter so far. More than a million of those dollars came in within the past 6 months. Three million is nothing to Dell, which earned $12.3 billion in revenue only in Q1 of 2009. Dell’s press release quotes Gartner analyst Allen Weiner on Twitter’s potential as a sale-maker: "Certainly one of the ways Twitter can begin to think of itself ...

Firefox flaws as 3.5 is close to release
June’s not even half over, and it’s already a busy month for Mozilla developers.
The team pushed out the first official Firefox 3.5 release candidate (RC 1) and updated its Jetpack technology for browser add-ons. At the same time, Mozilla is also working to solve out a few vulnerabilities in Firefox’s current release with a [...]
Facebook: 600,000 new users every day

Ooooh man, Facebook is like a person who diggs fastfoods, it’s getting bigger by the day. They reported a growth of over (pay attention) 600,000 new users subscribing to Facebook…every day. Soon we’ll call it Fatbook [joke]. At this moment our beloved social network serves a mind blowing 200 million users.
First of all it’s growing [...]
BING gets Bigger and Bigger

After its first week on the Web, Bing appears to be gaining ground against its rivals.
Microsoft’s Live Search replacement, Bing, had a solid first day last week, according to one Web metrics firm. Now, a second firm says its research has found that Bing has had a solid first week.
According to a statement by tracking [...]
Ten Inches – when Netbook evolution stops

Netbooks entered the market a couple of years ago and they did very well. And they still do, even if they had a ruff time choosing the right display size. They tried it all smaller and bigger than ten inches. Some had success, some didn’t. That’s why netbooks are settling in at the ten inch [...]
Facebook users will get personalized URLs

I enjoy more and more this social network because they constantly do something new for their “few” users. The latest “trick” is personalized URLs. And it’s free ofcourse.
Currently, the URL for a Facebook profile ends with a line of digits. But beginning on Saturday morning, members can substitute the numbers with a name of their [...]
